Stamp Out Hunger 2025 [PIN]
We are proud to announce that Stamp Out Hunger will be taking place Saturday, May 10th in Pinellas County.
We are putting out a call for volunteers! This is the single largest day of food collection of the year and is put on by the National Association of Letter Carriers. This comes at a great time for us at Hope Villages of America because the summer months have our greatest need (with kids not getting breakfast/lunch at school) but are our lowest months for food donations.
If you or anyone you know can donate time, we are in need of volunteers to work at the local Post Offices and Hope Villages of America's Food Bank. Volunteers are needed to help receive, collect, and load food.
- We welcome families with children aged 12 and older to volunteer in the warehouse and 16 and older at the Post Offices.
- We are in vital need of volunteers for the Post Office to help receive the food from the postal carriers.
- We take pride in the safety and well-being of all our volunteers. Shoes must be closed toe. Flip-flops and sandals are strictly prohibited.
- For all loading and unloading positions, volunteers must be able to lift 30 lbs. Food Sorting positions are available and have no weight restrictions.
- Post Office Volunteers, please wear your HVA Stamp Out Hunger Badges. Volunteer badges will be given once you arrive.
You can sign up online using this link or click 'express interest' below to contact the volunteer coordinator.
Thank you for your continued support of Hope Villages of America!
