Ronald McDonald House: MLK Day of Service 2024 [HIL]
United Way Suncoast is excited to share this opportunity with one of our community partners as part of our annual MLK Jr. Day of Service.
The Mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. Our core program is the Ronald McDonald House, a home away from home that provides comfort, support and resources to families who travel far from home for the medical care their child needs. Families need and look forward to a well-balanced meal after a long day at the hospital. The UWS Volunteer Leader will determine the meal that will be prepared and email a list of items that the registered volunteers are asked to contribute (when possible) to assist with creating the meal. Volunteers would then select an item that they wish to contribute and let the UWS Volunteer Leader know. This volunteer opportunity is for the RMH house in Tampa.
