WEEKS OF SERVICE
Throughout the year, United Way Suncoast organizes four annual service events that align with National Days of Service and with our United Way Network. So that more community members can participate, we celebrate these events as Weeks of Service and offer multiple opportunities to get involved.
- January: MLK Jr. Week of Service
- April: Week of Caring
- September: 9/11 Week of Service and Remembrance
- November: Veterans Week of Service
Register for a volunteer account to receive our monthly email with upcoming volunteer needs and updates about these annual weeks of service.
NONPROFIT PARTNERS
We invite our nonprofit partners to submit volunteer opportunities that align with the above Weeks of Service. Volunteer needs should align with the below parameters:
- MLK Jr. Week of Service: education and food insecurity.
- Week of Caring: education and financial stability.
- 9/11 Week of Service and Remembrance: open to any volunteer needs.
- Veterans Week of Service: organizations who serve veterans either directly or indirectly.
