http://awhealth.orgAdvocates for World Health (AWH) is a nonprofit organization that recovers surplus medical supplies in the U.S. and redistributes those supplies to healthcare providers in developing countries that treat under-served patient populations with limited access to adequate health care services. This mediation of surplus medical supplies reduces global health disparities and curtails the staggering waste otherwise produced, thus benefiting our environment.
