UWS Home Plate Market: 9/11 Day of Service 2024 [PIN]
The September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance is a chance to honor the sacrifices made that day by remembering the heroes, armed forces, first responders, and countless others' acts of service to defend our nation's freedom. United Way Suncoast is excited to bring you this great volunteer opportunity at Campbell Park Resource center.
At Campbell Park Resource Center, located on the campus of John Hopkins Middle School in Campbell Park, one of the services provided is an indoor food pantry for the families of the school. Previously Called the Campbell Park Food Pantry, now called the Home Plate Market thanks to our wonderful partnership with the Tampa Bay Rays. Volunteers are needed to help with various tasks such as receiving food, sanitizing, stocking shelves, assisting individuals/families to shop for food, and other duties as needed.
Directions: The address provided via email once you register will bring you to the front of the school. Head West onto 9th Ave South, then turn right onto Queens Street and the resource center parking will be at the end. The building has a sign on the outside of it that says Campbell Park Resource Center. Our food pantry is the very first room on the right when you walk through the main entrance to the building.
