Holiday Helpers in the Wish Workshop [PIN]
Healthy Start Coalition’s Holiday Wish Garden continues to grow each year! Last year we received nearly $70,000 worth of gifts that went directly to 498 babies, children, and families in our community! As you can imagine, the preparation and organization of those gifts takes a lot of effort, which is why we need YOUR help to prepare materials for distribution to client families.
Examples of Workshop Help includes: confirm the received gifts against the child’s wish list, complete a gift form, bag and label gift with child’s wish list number/home visiting staff, assembling bikes, cutting lengths of wrapping paper from bulk rolls, gathering ribbons and bows, enclosing a roll of tape per bag, etc.
Healthy Start families get to share in the holiday spirit by wrapping their children’s gifts!
